Ryan loved the structure and interaction. If you thrive with routine and like learning alongside others, in-person classes can be a great fit.

Online Real Estate School: The Pros & Cons

Pros

• Total flexibility — learn on your own schedule

• Self-paced (move faster or slower as needed)

• Ideal for career-changers, parents, or busy professionals

Cons

• Requires strong self-discipline

• Less real-time interaction

• Easy to procrastinate without accountability

Online school worked for me because I needed flexibility — but I’ll be honest, it takes motivation and focus to stay on track.

So… Which Option Is Better?

The truth is, neither is better — it’s about what works for you.

Your learning style, schedule, goals, and lifestyle all matter. And beyond just getting licensed, what really sets you up for success is what happens after you pass the exam.
